Where Can I Travel Internationally From the US Right Now?

Who’s ready to GTFO? Multiple countries all over the world have taken serious action in the fight against the spread of COVID-19, and are welcoming travelers from the U.S. who follow specific international travel requirements upon arrival. All you have to do is a little prep work, follow some additional instructions, and keep wearing that cute mask and washing those filthy hands. Easy-peasy, lemon squeeze! You’ll be back to crossing off that travel bucket list in no time.

Explorer Chick has adventure trips to several of these destinations across the globe, all of which have taken measures to ensure the safety of their tourists. In fact, many of our destinations (Belize, Jordan, Dominican Republic, Peru, Croatia, Uganda, Slovenia, Galapagos/Ecuador, and Iceland) have even earned the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) Safe Travels Stamp. This is the world’s first global safety and hygiene mark and indicates a destination has adopted global standardized health and hygiene protocols. Woo hoo!

Stay Informed, But Don’t Sweat It!

You know we make it our business to go the extra mile and take care of those pesky travel details. International travel requirements are no exception! You’re in good hands with our professional guides (but you knew that already). They are well-versed in and stay current with these requirements and will keep you informed of everything you need to do prior to your trip and upon arrival at your destination. Additionally, they will take care of booking you a PCR test to arrive back in the States—all you have to do is pay for it.

Big Update: As of December 6, 2021, all international travelers returning to the United States need to get a COVID-19 viral test no more than 1 day before you travel by air to the US.

No matter where you’re looking to go, here’s everything you need to know to prepare for your next adventure vacation in these countries—and what to expect once you get there.

Updated: February 2022 (We update this page regularly, but for the most up-to-date and official travel requirements please refer to each country’s U.S. embassy or tourism board page.)
