Overview

We’ve all seen those breathtaking photos of our favorite destinations! Did you just book that epic bucket list adventure, hoping to capture those shots for yourself? Join us at this beginner’s photography workshop.📸 No experience needed! Learn from an expert while developing your own style. You will learn everything you need to get you going: what all those confusing camera settings mean, the techniques to use them correctly, proper composition, and how to shoot a good landscape. Don’t have a DSLR camera yet? No worries! You can learn about proper composition and other great photo-taking techniques just by using your smartphone.

Now we’d disappoint your mama if we sent you off hungry, and we can’t have that. So after we spend our morning together working up an appetite, gather with us at the Gateway Canteen for a delicious meal. Weather Cancellation Protocols

  • You will be notified 2 hours prior to the event start if cancellation is needed.
  • This event can not take place during thunder and lightning conditions.
  • A delayed start will take place prior to a full cancellation if possible.
  • If a delayed start is not an option and the event gets canceled due to severe weather, you will be fully refunded.

Payment Policy

Payment is required at booking.

If your Multi-Day Trip requires a Deposit:

The stated deposit is due at the time of booking.The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. You will have the option to pay the deposit or the entire balance at booking.

You will receive automatic payment reminders with a payment link leading up to your adventure. This link will only allow you to pay the entire remaining balance due.

To make smaller payments than remaining balance due – Please send an email to: Payments@ExplorerChick.com

Please include your Order Number, Name, Trip, Dates, and Amount you wish to pay. We will run the card used at booking and send you a confirmation by email. Please allow up to 2 business days for us to process.

 

The entire balance of your trip is due as stated below based on the duration of your trip. 

4 or Fewer Days 90 Days prior to arrival
5 or More Days 120 Days prior to arrival

Failure to pay balance in full by balance due date will result in automatic removal from trip without refund. 

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Multi-Day Adventures

Explorer Chick wants nothing more than for you to escape on one of our adventures. However, we understand emergencies do occur that may cause you to cancel your reservation. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE.

Refunds will be given as outlined below based on days prior to trip arrival and length of trip.

50% less the Non-Refundable Deposit 90 – 61 Days 120 – 61 Days
No Refund 60 Days or less 60 Days or less

No exceptions will be granted to our Cancellation policy.

*We reserve the right to cancel trips with inadequate participant attendance, in which case all money paid to Explorer Chick Adventure Co, Inc will be fully refunded. Explorer Chick Adventure Co, Inc. CANNOT be held responsible for any personal expenses, such as airline tickets due to changes in itineraries or tour cancellations.

 

Can I transfer my trip? 

Explorer Chick will transfer 100% of funds paid including the Non-Refundable deposit if transfer is made outside of our cancellation policy. Transfer can be made to any scheduled tour.

Our normal cancellation policy is in place for all other transfer requests.

 

*Explorer Chick reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a tour participant should such person’s behavior, health or mental condition impede the operation of the trip.

*Explorer Chick reserves the option to modify trip itineraries at the discretion of your tour director as necessary due to weather, conditions, illness, injury, group dynamics, safety, or other unforeseen incidents.
