Overview

Do you remember climbing trees when you were a kid? The freedom you felt, the exhilaration of being way up high, of seeing things from a new angle and a whole new perspective? Wouldn’t it be wonderful to capture those feelings again? Are you comforted by the sounds of the forest and the scent of the trees? Does the light playing through the leaves and the freshness of the clean air put a smile on your face? Reasons like this are why nature has a way of unwinding and recharging our souls. Join Explorer Chick on this tree climb and soak in all that nature has to offer.

Guided Tree Climbing

Tree climbing is an up-and-coming adventure sport that uses specialized equipment, powered by your strong legs, to climb tall trees. In fact, we will be using the same professional equipment that arborists and scientists use to ascend into our lofty playground 🌳. Come join your fellow Explorer Chicks as we experience the trees and leafy canopy from a unique and rare perspective. Once geared up, your instructors will teach you how to ascend into the tree using specially anchored ropes and tools.

All Equipment Provided

No gear, no problem. 👍 Like most of our Mini Adventures, all the safety gear and equipment you will need is included. All you need to do is show up with that “ALL IN” attitude and be ready to take yourself to new heights!

*Tipping your Guides is optional and not included in the price of your adventure. Gratuities may be given to one leader—the team divides tips among themselves after the trip. We recommend 10-20%.

Why aren’t Guide gratuities included in the trip price? Allowing Guides to accept tips is customary in the tour industry and for good reason. Explorer Chicks enjoy the opportunity to recognize their Guides personally for their hard work and keeping them safe.

Payment Policy

Payment is required at booking.

If your Multi-Day Trip requires a Deposit:

The stated deposit is due at the time of booking.The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. You will have the option to pay the deposit or the entire balance at booking.

You will receive automatic payment reminders with a payment link leading up to your adventure. This link will only allow you to pay the entire remaining balance due.

To make smaller payments than remaining balance due – Please send an email to: Payments@ExplorerChick.com

Please include your Order Number, Name, Trip, Dates, and Amount you wish to pay. We will run the card used at booking and send you a confirmation by email. Please allow up to 2 business days for us to process.

 

The entire balance of your trip is due as stated below based on the duration of your trip. 

4 or Fewer Days 90 Days prior to arrival
5 or More Days 120 Days prior to arrival

Failure to pay balance in full by balance due date will result in automatic removal from trip without refund. 

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Multi-Day Adventures

Explorer Chick wants nothing more than for you to escape on one of our adventures. However, we understand emergencies do occur that may cause you to cancel your reservation. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE.

Refunds will be given as outlined below based on days prior to trip arrival and length of trip.

50% less the Non-Refundable Deposit 90 – 61 Days 120 – 61 Days
No Refund 60 Days or less 60 Days or less

No exceptions will be granted to our Cancellation policy.

*We reserve the right to cancel trips with inadequate participant attendance, in which case all money paid to Explorer Chick Adventure Co, Inc will be fully refunded. Explorer Chick Adventure Co, Inc. CANNOT be held responsible for any personal expenses, such as airline tickets due to changes in itineraries or tour cancellations.

 

Can I transfer my trip? 

Explorer Chick will transfer 100% of funds paid including the Non-Refundable deposit if transfer is made outside of our cancellation policy. Transfer can be made to any scheduled tour.

Our normal cancellation policy is in place for all other transfer requests.

 

*Explorer Chick reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a tour participant should such person’s behavior, health or mental condition impede the operation of the trip.
