Fishing for Beginners
On the fence because you don’t even know how to bait a hook?! No worries! You are NOT alone on this one! 🙋♀️ Learn the art of tying knots, baiting hooks, casting the reel, hooking a fish, and yes—removing said fish from your hook. 💪 You’ll leave taking with you all the skills you need to impress your friends and family as you catch your own shoreline meal. 🎣 Fishing gets you out in nature and calls on you to master a variety of different skills. The more involved you get in the sport the more you’ll learn!
Archery for Beginners
Fishing is great but come on! Who hasn’t wanted to feel strong and powerful as they channel that inner elvish princess or wood nymph? The excitement begins when you pluck an arrow from your quiver. Next, feel the power as you pull back your bowstring and take aim. Experience the magic as you release your arrow 🏹 for the very first time. You will be hitting those bullseyes in no time while you hear the encouraging cheers of your fellow Explorer Chicks rooting you on!

- If you do not have a valid fishing license, you will not be able to participate in the fishing portion.

- Duration: Approximately 3.5 hours depending on group dynamics.
- Women-Only, 21+.
- This is an active event, bring snacks to keep you fueled!

- This is an active event, bring snacks to keep you fueled!
- Must wear Closed-toed shoes. (for Archery)
- Bug Spray.
- Sunscreen.
- Optional: Polarized sunglasses.
- Polarized glasses make seeing what is going on beneath the water a little bit easier.
